Thank you Susan,

For Sharing your links to the historical charts.. I do see the similarities... But I do not look too far back because of my time frames and also, I believe, the market reflects a dynamic fundamental economic backdrop that has enough difference so as to give off chart patterns that will be very different, even from 10 years ago.. Enough of a difference to throw me off from my time frames..

So I look back no more than a year..for similarities of the MARKET INTERNALS, volume relationships primarily, for turning points.. but somewhat the Vix and NYSE beta which hasn't been much help this summer. On a hourly basis mostly now. Cummulative ticks has been helping as does the DIRECTION the trin is moving.

Then once I have direction established, I TRY to look for patterns like pull backs and spikes, ledges etc.. I do like the Linda R. approaches very well to enter.. I screw up too, like yesterday.. by jumping the gun..especially after some wins.. oh well.

Right now, after one hour, I am looking to short the E-mini, being very careful..

Hope this helps and have fun.. m
