American Power Conversion's Comprehensive Product and Services Line to be Offered by EDS Worldwide APC Obtains First End-to-end Global Power Protection Sales Agreement with EDS WEST KINGSTON, R.I. --August 15, 2000 --American Power Conversion (NASDAQ: APCC) today announced that it has entered into the power protection industry's first end-to-end worldwide sales agreement with EDS. Through this agreement, the EDS global sales force will sell APC’s comprehensive product and services offering, from surge protectors to large three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to professional and consulting services, both within EDS and externally to its global customer base. EDS has also selected APC to be its corporate standard for power protection solutions.
