The company said its earnings before amortization of goodwill for the latest
six months were $4.4 million or 9 cents a share versus $10.6 million or 28
cents a share a year earlier.
It said diamond production for the latest quarter was 45,600 carats versus
76,000 carats a year earlier. It said diamond production for the latest six
months was 98,500 carats versus 192,100 carats a year earlier.
It said difficult mining conditions and the mining of lower grade material
resulted in lower production in the latest six months.
Namibian Minerals Corp. (NMCOF) is a diamond producer.
