Speaking of schools...wonder what Abraham Lincoln would have thought (and learned) from our schools today...seems he did fairly well in a very small one room school...without any of the luxuries we have come to think of as our "right" and "our due" today....

How many of our forefathers had to learn English first, before they could own land, or just about anything else....AND were PROUD of having learned??!!

...and YES, we ALL benefit from well-educated people....we just want them to be well-educated, and today, unfortunately, we have ample opportunity to see the results of the last few decades of our educational system.
