there is no longer a need for 2/3 support to override the veto. 50% + 1 = tax cuts and spending cuts. No more socialism.knc No more socialism would be fine if somebody really wants to achieve that. I am not interested in "tax cuts" unless FICA is addressed since my employees pay more to fica - SS, medicare than federal income tax. Tell me which party is going to kill fica and I will vote for them. However, if its slash and burn every valuable resource this country has to offer - ie kill all national park funding, education grants etc. in an effort to cut taxes while maintaining fica which is the grossest of all then I'm not interested - I actually get some value out of national parks, etc.
