Dirk Meyer and Fred Weber might be excellent microprocessor designers, able to lead a team of engineers in the design of a world-class product. But chipset and motherboard availability is much tougher to achieve. Maybe there is just no substitute for being an 800-lb. gorilla in this area. Tenchusatsu
