Could someone please help explain how the new release of Msft BizTalk Server will have on competition with Excelon and others?

Since MSFT doesn't know, how could anyone else know? Maybe there's a 10% overlap between the two, but in general, they operate in different markets.

Are they direct competitors with deeper pockets?

You are asking whether apples are sweeter than oranges. Is it possible to answer?

Are their advantages to using Excelon over these products.

Definitively yes, but any solution is application dependent to some extent. Biztalk has no chance against EXLN where the application is mutually appropriate.

I have heard how Excelon products are superior, but does that make a difference in this market?

You need to study a little about these two products. There's enough publicly available to answer these questions adequately or to the extent that they can be answered.

WebMethods seems to gaining clients as well and thier products seem to not match Excelon. I know they have Dell backing. Does that have more influence than a superior product in this case?

This question is unfathomable. Just because you can put words in question form, that doesn't mean that the question is coherent.

I am curious of the BizTalk and the impact when it hits the market.

So is MSFT since it could be one of their first major failures.
