Sudan, USA To Normalize Ties Through Dialogue, Official Says Text of report in English by Sudanese news agency SUNA on 11th August Khartoum, 11th August: Ministry of Justice undersecretary, Dr Ahmad Al-Mufti, is optimistic over imminent rapprochement of the Sudanese-American relations through dialogue. Dialogue on human rights, anti-terrorism and peaceful resolution is internationally accepted, he said in a statement to Suna [Sudanese News Agency]. The rapprochement of the Sudanese-American relations will help the United State play a conducive role especially in Sudan's political and economic fields and invest its huge capitals in Sudan's different natural resources. Asked if the presidential election would change America's policies, Al-Mufti said the American policy does not change and is based on its interests, therefore, the United States works on maintaining these interests through world order mechanisms and its political, military and economic power.
