and both are inextricably linked


You may be right but I hope you are not because 1 - I do want to see tax reform. and 2 - I don't want them linked because I don't think I want to see campaign finance reform (at least not any proposal that has a good chance of getting passed into law). I think most campaign finance reforms unjustly limit free speech. The reform I would like to see is less regulation of campaign finance not more.
