BigBull - My comment about needing $30 crude was somewhat tongue-in-check, but it does surprise me to the extent that the OSX still follows crude prices even though oil is well above $18 let alone $25.

Sustainable $28 or $25 crude? Hell, even with sustainable $22 I'll bet the OSX sees 200+.

The date for $18 crude keeps getting pushed out in the futures, yet we still get yanked around with every little crude trade. 12 months ago they were saying by 2001 we'd have $18-20 crude. Now I think you need to go out to 2003 or 2004 before you can find it.

Yet we still follow crude's daily swings...

When this perception finally changes (and it will in the next 3-9 months imho), then we can all buy our own drilling rigs and set them in our back yards as conversation pieces on how we made our fortunes.

In the future I think my general strategy will be to sell into any rally that is caused solely by a rise in crude prices and hold any rally that moves against crude prices.

Ok, I'm done venting. Looking forward to buying more NSS and ATW.
