Thanks Seconds, semi O/T

I think I can speak for alot of folks when I say that I'm most interested in the specifics about General Magic, it's competitors, and how the GMGC business plan will develop in the short and long term.

Not really very interested in daily or regular updates on any individual's trades or wild unfounded speculations, unless I tune into a specific thread for just that. It seems this board gets a little off track and distracted some times, but that's ok. There's some great stuff that get's posted here.

No-one is the leader here, I'd like to think that everyone has equal room when it comes to contributions. I hope no-one thinks they have any type of status... I'm not sure that would lead to a more constructive exchange of ideas.

FWIW, I don't think anyone does.

What I'd really like to see is either a thread created for trading GMGC, and the VUI sector, and this thread remain as it was originally intended, or the thread header changed here to give folks a better idea of what GMGC is all about... maybe re-titled "The New GMGC"<gg> or something of that nature, with a comprehensive header synopsis about the co. and how they have developed and evolved over the years.

Funny how the NUAN thread has been mostly dead until late, even in lite of the incredible run, and so is this one...

Subject 33845

It seems this thread and the LHSP thread is all we've got for now for any real discussions about voice, and I've always maintained the only way to lead is by example... so I'll look forward to trying to keep my posts from here on out cordial, yet as on topic as possible;

and try to make this a more quality place to gather and share info about GMGC... and how they relate to the voice user interface sector.

The great companies...and investments, are the ones that inherently change the way we work and play. I think General Magic is still one of them. Here's to more constructive dialog.

All the Best,

John M
