And without ego what motivation would we feel to do anything? Is FS advocating that we act on the Id? The super Ego? I get the feeling he doesn't like the confinement of the super Ego (too negative, too controlling) so he MUST be advocating an embrace of the Id. Can anyone say orgies? Food fights? Beer swilling extravaganzas? I can't imagine a lot of HELPING and CARING going on with the Id- but hey, we could really party down. Idn't that what he meant? Idn't it?
