Anyone see the Sept. 2000 issue of Technology Investor magazine? The one with the Cadillac on the cover. The one with the title "The New Wireless Computing, Networking, Entertaining Automobile". Well, The segment inside on p.46 titled "The Telematics Revolution" mentions General Magic three different times! Once in the main article, once under wireless services-Motorola and Delphi provide the phone, Bell Atlantic and GTE the cell service, and General Magic the voice recognition and text to speech software for Onstar, and finally in-car computing-Voice control is paramount to all telematics systems. General Magic and Lernout & Hauspie are the leaders. "Their software will be the interface for countless "speak this" applications going forward." Overall, a very positive article with GMGC all over it. Pick up a copy. Long since '97. Jer
