Are you aware of the way in which the increased supply of wool, and the minting of silver, created inflationary pressures.

On first blush it would seem that the circumstances described, an increase in the availability of wool, would diminish inflationary pressure. Unless of course the rulers decided to increase the supply of fiat money in excess of the increased supply of goods. But why would any ruler do that? Ho! Ho! Ho!
