Today my son was looking at stock prices and he asked me what NZRO (NetZero) did.

I told him they didn't do anything. No products, no production, no expenses, no employees, always meet analysts expectations, never any bad news, no problems. All they did was have stock. I told him that the only employee, the CEO, received all of his compensation in the form of stock options, as did the law firm and accounting firm they utilized to prepare the necessary SEC filings.

The more I described it the more realistic I found it to be.

Unfortunately for them, the real NZRO wasn't satisfied doing nothing, but rather insisted on doing things and giving them away for free.

BTW - I really enjoyed shorting them. I figured with a name like NetZero how could you go wrong. Alas, I had to take them off the list recently when they went under $5.
