I brought up the military comparison as I felt it was the closest possible universally acceptable service provided.

With your excellent responses in mind, I would like to ask just one last thing regarding universal health care :

Is there a middle ground position that the Republicans and their supporters would entertain ,to provide better health care services to those less fortunate soles who can't afford these services and are left in the wake of the ever widening tidal wealth flow?

This should be the last on this particular aspect of the make or break election.
