If you are an American and resident in the US you are specifically prohibited from accepting the DeBeers offer to purchase. The high volume this week is thought to be substantially Sales by others like you.

There may be some chance of another offer coming in but each day that passes cuts down the time left for such an option. At the end of the day selling into the market is preferable in my humble opinion to being a small shareholder under DeBeers umbrella.
