It's always fun to yank the tail of Sacred Cows, and the FSM is one fat bovine. One of the sacred origins of the New Left. Lots of echos of the FSM at the Democrat National Convention right now. The demonstrators out front, waving the black flag and taunting the LAPD. Inside the hall there's Hillary, protege of Robert Treuhaft, Mario Savio's lawyer. One can only hope that there will be a sort of FSM family reunion, with the Progressive Labor Party leading a charge of animal rights protestors into the hall, hurling pig poop at the Hollywood gliterati in their luxury skyboxes as Al Gore woodenly drones on about global warming.
