Doug, I never denied that Intel was not pushing the envelope. I just think they are not pushing it fast enough or far enough. They will do it at their own pace if they are not challenged. It is very well known that a monopoly does hinder progress. Why do you think Intel cuts price frequently? Do you really think they love you or me? Honestly, do you think they will be so eager to cut prices if AMD and CYRX were not breathing down their neck? My point was that a monopoly slows progress, and whenever a monopoly exists there will be many others who get tempted by the obscene margins. That is what is happening, and that is what will happen.
