I LOVE watermelon. The list of my dislikes is quite short: Okra (Shudder, shudder!) Rhubarb (The nuns used to force me to eat it, and I would throw it up every time.) Mature, over-boiled asparagus Cooked creamed celery (One of my mother's favorite recipes, God bless her soul.) Beets If you will note, all of the above share one revolting characteristic: slime! As I said before: YECH! AAAACK! BLEAH!
