Hi Straight, long time no write. :-)
I have not. I know that GMGC is trying to balance their need for up front cash with their stronger desire to be compensated at a higher level on the back end. I think we will look back and see this was a good deal. Just my hunch.
Unfortunately, GMGC seems to have their hands tied as to how much they can say about the compensation structure. I guess it is for competitive reasons, and I can't say that I blame companies like GM or IBM for being tight lipped about it. It certainly is frustrating not to know, though. And it opens the door for one's fears to take over, especially in light of past failures. First the deal may not happen, then it won't make any money, etc...
I believe that the company has entered a new stage in its history. It won't be fully evident for another quarter or two, but from their attitude, to their hirings, to their deals I sense a difference.
The wild card continues to be the Preffereds. They sure can take their toll. But I think they will be moving on during that same period. And, I think other deals will confirm GMGC's position in the market place during that period.
