SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2000-- Datalink.net (Nasdaq:XLNK - news) a leading Wireless Application Service Provider (w-ASP) with
patented technology, today announced the signing of a contract with On Time Media, an online freight and load matching service for the transportation industry. On
Time Media has licensed Datalink.net's wireless gateway technology and will use it to wirelessly enable its two online freight-matching services, TruckIt.com and
ExpediteLoads.com.

On Time Media's databases and web interfaces are designed for load postings and load queries and contain a criteria-matching system capable of generating matches
between postings and individual queries. Matches are based on set criteria that provide subscribers with a list of freighting opportunities that match their desired
dates, locations and types of cargo. With On Time Media's current service, subscribers must go to the company's websites to access load matching information.
Datalink.net will provide the wireless gateway and the capabilities to extend this information to any wireless device. Using Datalink.net's wireless system, On Time
Media will be able to offer web-based as well as wireless freight-matching notification services to it subscribers.

Datalink.net will be based on an initial engineering and integration fee, On Time Media subscriber activation fees and a monthly per user fee.
