Got an email from new President Mr. R. Kurtz. He assured me that Commodore will be able to weather the storm and is still booked solid. Since I am a novice to stock trading (3 or four years, playing) I should realize that companies from time to time need capitol (is that al or ol) to purchase new equipment, start up etc and that they raise this thru stock sales (no kidding) This is one company which the stock price does not reflect the business, since business is good. For example. Take the new Panama Canal Cruise - The Sept cruise is booked, so they added an October cruise and it IS BOOKED TOO! Of course Commodore got blasted on the California deal but I suggested they take the Sun and run it out of Houston and or run it to Cuba (I believe the travel restrictions have been removed on Americans traveling to Cuba) The Texas market appears to be growing and of course Judi and I wouldn't have to go so far to get the ship.
Just a month from now we will be cruising down the Mississippi on the 14 day Panama Cruise - wish you were here - Vic Vreeland
ps - when you click on the buy hold recommendation - commodore is a strong buy - help me help me
cheers
vic
