Revising history is common. Remember when AMD w/ copper technology was going to beat the pants off of Intel? Now that Intel is ahead in the GHz race, AMD changed their story and is now saying that implementing copper was only meant to be a "valuable learning experience."

<Probably the next line will be that Rambus is just too good for PC memory>

There's a lot of truth in that, despite what you may believe.
