Frank- Your post<vbg>. ....Maybe I should word it another way then. I wonder how many of those 200,000,000 lines make money for CLECs. Do you agree with Ray that it is indeed only about 3%? I just would have thought with all the noise going on between CLECs and ILECs that the CLEC would have made a more substantial gain by now.

Also would you happen to know how the tariff works if a LD company signs up a CLEC customer. Does the CLEC collect the same exact tariff from the LD SP that the ILEC would have?

As you probably know, we're talking $100,000,000,000/year for local service and another $100,000,000,000/year for LD.

Supposedly, and I could be very wrong, $50,000,000,000 of the local revenues are generated via the LD SPs. It's just hard to imagine this stunning sum is accurate. Would you know?

I'm just trying to get a feel for how these stunning sums are distributed. -MikeM(From Florida)
