Raj,

Nokia has admitted that GPRS will initially roll out with data speeds of about 30K. GPRS has to have dedicated channel slots that can't be used for voice, taking away from voice capacity. 1X doubles existing voice capacity. When Verizon announced 1.2 billion in network investment this year, that is a 1X "deal". The 1X deployments aren't announced as deals because they are an enhancement to the existing system. Consequently they are a vendor upgrade not a new deal. GPRS is a totally different technology being added to existing GSM systems.

Raj, I don't mind being corrected when I make an incorrect statement, but your wrong, wrong, wrong again approach displays your ignorance. Check your facts. You are the one who is WRONG!
