TCI Satellite Entertainment Announces Name Change And Application for Listing on Nasdaq National Market
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- TCI Satellite Entertainment, Inc. (``TSAT'') (OTC Bulletin Board: TSATA - news, TSATB - news) announced today that it has received approval from its shareholders to change its name to Liberty Satellite & Technology, Inc. (``LSAT''). At its Annual Meeting held today, shareholders approved the name change and elected the following to LSAT's Board of Directors: Gary S. Howard, who will serve as Chairman of the Board, Alan M. Angelich, Robert R. Bennett, William H. Berkman, John W. Goddard, J. Curt Hockemeier, and Carl E. Vogel, who is also Chief Executive Officer and President of LSAT.
LSAT, which is currently traded on the OTC Bulletin Board, has applied for listing on the Nasdaq National Market Tier, and is waiting for approval of such application from Nasdaq.
TSAT is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado. TCI Satellite Entertainment Series A and Series B Common Stock trade on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbols TSATA and TSATB respectively.
