Hi Daniel Schuh; Re the obsolete Computer Shopper benchmarks... What do you suppose the results of the Computer Shopper test would have been if they had included the on chip cache type Athlons?

The fact is that the comparison was between apples and oranges, and in any case, the SDRAM based machines were considerably cheaper but only marginally slower. In addition, at the time that the review was written, 1GHz Pentiums were essentially unavailable, while 1GHz Athlons were plentiful.
