Grace,

>>>>This is not to say that some people will not get away with using the residential service in their business, but they shouldn't be. For years I had a residential phone line in my business because I didn't know that there is a completely different pricing plan for businesses.

I know now, boy do I.

The cost of providing service to either business or residential is the same, but the TELCO's have been screwing the business owners for years, do you think that the Cable companies see some opportunity with all that fat? Voice over IP will be a huge growth area because the cable companies can cut the rates to business and still get paid. IMO T/ATHM should move into that arena and blow the regional telecos out of the water. My business telephone bill is around $1,400 a month, if it were priced as a residential, the price would be around $650. Someone should do something about this. The government is still trying to figure out Microsoft, so we know they won't be of any help.

Regards,

Rob
