Ice- I did my thesis on hybrid electrics in grad school back in 87. I thought it would be the wave of the future. Cheap oil kinda sidetracked it for a while, but I still see it as the best transition vehicle to wean folks off of pure IC vehicles. BTW- gas powered golf carts work the same way. They shut off every time you stop them. Gotta run, but I'll talk to ya more on it later if you care to.
