Private Equity: One company that I know that owns a private investment (at least $3 million in capital/money in net investment) is Comdisco. Here is a link that lists Comdisco as an private investor in Transmeta (from a CDO SEC filing): Message 14184166 This should be a huge IPO, whenever Transmeta has their IPO!
