NYSE longs vs commercial shorts

This is probably no time to have any big positions. It has been mentioned by you and others that the spoo position could just be a hedge for their long common positions. I find that hard to believe. I mean, do you know how much stock they would have to be holding to require a hedge of these proportions?

Today/yesterday was the time to be acquiring the first third of old-econ short hedge, but on the tech side it is a coin-toss at this point.

I previously mentioned that I have no gold positions and how it was good not to have to follow that market closely. I am now wishing I had some, but that is just greed. If XAU takes out the Bruce Lee resistance, then I will pray for a pullback to get some.
