They plan to install 2x the number of users in the 4th quarter of this year than in the 3rd. (800k vs. 400k) That aint gonna happen by doubling the number of installers. How do you know that? Are you sure they are not still adding to their installer ranks? There was that modem shortage last Q...do you think that they will make up the shortfall and end up at 3 million at the end of the year? I think I heard Bell say that the self installs were due to come on line in Q4 in the Q1 conference call. Is my memory correct? If so then maybe some of the installs could be attributed to the self install. If they are basing their predictions on the self install then they must have the process pretty well worked out. If not there will be a lot of egg to wipe off their faces in the Q4 conference call. My feeling is that some small percentage of projected installs for the end of this year might be based on the self install, but that surely as we ramp up to a 3 million installs next year and 4 million the following year there must be some more reliance on the self install. Either that or they will have to call out the National Guard to wire up your house! Orca
