Thanks for the article from wired. This is rather fascinating stuff. I had no idea that flash chips actually broke down when written to. I wonder why since there are no moving parts? Tis a puzzlement.

I am sure that flash memory cards will last long enough for digital cameras, but I'm just curious.

I would think this MRAM would be very vulnerable to any kind of magnetic field. Any time you send an electron down a wire, you create a magnetic field. Don't forget all those kids out there with the secret magnetic decoder rings, just waiting to screw up you computer, camera or what have you. (g)
