Intel has been critical of Sun for giving lackluster SOLARIS support for IA64. If you take that criticism at face value, chic, there's this bridge I'd like to sell you. There's no way Intel would like to see Solaris succeed on Intel processors. That's been true for 10 years. Press releases and other BS notwithstanding, Intel will never really support any Sun software efforts on Intel chips until Sun starts building Intel boxes, which they never will. --QS
