Dear Chic: OT OT OT supercomputers in the world, only one is based on the Pentium. Also, clock for clock, the Pentium 4 is going to be a dog. My guess is a 1.1 Ghz Pentuim 3 will be faster or equal to a 1.4 Ghz Pentium 4. OK, now I GOT to know why you say that? This is a personal question. I had planned originally to get myself a new computer in Sept. Then cancelled that plan when I learned of the Pentium 4 coming out this fall. Reason, I was thinking the P4 is the first P upgrade in 6 years and I didnt want to buy old technology on a computer I am expecting to be on for the NEXT 6 years. JDN
