Tim,

It happened to me with CYBR. Auric bashed and posted erroneous information about CYBR for a long time, then he shorted it (or made us believe he shorted it). In the downfall of the market action on February 23rd and days thereafter, I believe he and his posse frightened me enough to sell 16,500 of my shares.

I suspect that he and several other shorts that follow his recommendations contemporaneously shorted CYBR at the market-open of February 23rd, and then continued to short it and may be a large part of the 6.3 million shares short on this stock. I think that, if they did contemporaneously short CYBR, they may be guilty of fraud by means of manipulation of price. Brokers doing this could be in heaps and heaps of trouble with the SEC.

Sometimes the fish bite back.
