Sonoma Financial Announces First Quarter 2000 Filing With the Securities and Exchange Commission is Complete On August 9th, 2000

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 17, 2000--Sonoma Financial Corporation/Victormaxx Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:VMAX-news) one of the largest payday advance operations in the greater Chicago area, announced today that they filed their quarterly 10Q for the first quarter of 2000 with the Security and Exchange Commission.

For the first time since 1997 VictorMaxx/Sonoma Financial is current with its annual and quarterly reports. "We are working with our market makers to file the necessary forms to be reinstated as a bulletin board listed stock and hope to be reinstated shortly," states Terrence L. Donati, President Sonoma Financial Corp.
