Barb,

As a supporter of lost causes, you slip too quickly into syllogisms in the face of criticism. For example, because some Democrats and Republicans would view a vote for Pat Paulsen as a wasted vote...does not prove that these are now the same party. And one anecdote (from a Republican who admits being tempted to vote libertarian) does not change the statistics. For the last two presidential elections, the Libertarians had some of their highest turnouts in states where Democrats under performed (Such as Alaska, Nevada and Wyoming) and the national Libertarian candidate polled weakest in states that are strong bastions of liberal democrats (New York, Massachusetts, District of Columbia).

But let me illustrate another important difference, while c.horn asked that you libertarians not waste your votes, I enthusiastically endorse your right to do exactly that.

If fact, if there are others who have become convinced that republicans "only talk the talk", and to whom the following statement rings true...

"I JUST WANNA PAY MY FAIR SHARE WHICH IS NOTHING!"

...Please click the following link and see if you want to join the growing one half of one percent who think that selling the national parks would be a good way to pay down the national debt.
