Don't get too excited. Patent law in this area is still murky and other companies are doing things. A direct competitor that comes to mind (even before the coffee receptor has been activated, which trials show lead improved intellectual performance) would be GNT. I don't remember if their therapy is gene related, but they use AAVs for hemophilia, too, and are about as far or even a little further along than CEGE. GNT claims to be happy with THEIR IP position (they use two vectors at once; might be the difference). Who knows how it will all turn out.
