Dear Paul:

Re: P3 1.13G

P3@1.13G is slower than a Kyrotech cooled Tbird@950 which does 1.36G. Extrapolating to Tbird@1.1G, we get 1.57G. Thus Kyrotech will probably ship 1.5G Tbirds that are thermally accelerated 1.1G Tbirds, just like Intel does with P3@933, 1G, and 1.13G (you might even be able to receive them in the same timeframe since the cases are already available). Any of these that have a junction temperature of 90C like Tbird@1.1G, just stop working at all for a speed of 0 period.

When Intel can ship a P3@1.13G with a Tj of 90C, then you can make fun of AMD yields (unless of course Tbirds are much faster then).

Pete
