JDN, There are no "official" benchmarks out yet, so this is pure speculation. I'm getting this from reading hardware review sites on the Internet. Willamette should be out shortly and the benchmarks will speak for themselves. Another thing to consider is Willy will only be available with Rambus memory, so if you're like me and want at least 512 MB, you're looking at about $1000 over an equal SDRAM or DDR system configured equally. When Willy comes out, compare it with the highest speed PIII and the highest speed Athlon and make a decision then. I don't want to get into why the speculation is that Willy will be a dog, because I don't understand it well enough to explain. It has to do with the double pumped ALU though. chic
