While parts of it I didn't like, I think the parts affecting the feds may help the stock price, because he left the impression he was talking to them; and any thing which will ease fears of another price war should help.
Yes, there were parts I didn't like also, for example I would rather have heard that Mustang would be out in 3rd quarter, also I would like to have heard more news on 760/760MP. Overall, by the end of his talk, I was left with the attitude of "What in the hell is this stock doing priced in the $60s?". I particularly enjoyed the confidence Jerry expressed with volume production at high MHz (1.1, 1.2, 1.4...) and also it seems that Dresden is a success (Intel's nightmare has begun-how they going to stop us now?).
I am sorry to have seen your negative encounter with Charles and Kash (others?) recently on this board. Have they all gone "short"? Anyway, I enjoyed your comments and thought you defended your points well. I also agree with your points, it's just too bad we have so many good posters willing to "get in the mud" rather than "let it slide once in a while". I particularly agree with "life experience and wisdom" you shared, your thoughts and wisdom came hard earned and should have been respected for that alone but such was not the case.
