First, the Reagan expansion continued through most of Bush's term. Second, the recession took 7 months, and was already over with by October of 92. The Commerce Department revised the figures after the election. Resumed growth was robust. Third, the first Clinton term was about the same as the overall growth rate during the 80s, the take- off was in the second term, and had to do with the market more than any single governmental action, primarily the digital revolution, the conditions of which were set up by Republicans, insofar as government influences such things.........
