I don't have a problem with eliminating Social Security and Medicare except for those truly in need, as they were originally intended. The fraud that is prevalent in Gov't contracting should be exposed. Farm and corporate subsidies can go. The department of Justice has become a joke. The war on drugs is a failure, Civil rights are enacted. They don't investigate what needs to be investigated, Fund-raising abuses, and do investigate what doesn't need to be, bs anti-trust cases. Child care is a parental responsibility. If you have kids(yes, I do) you are responsible to raise them. Defense spending needs to be refocused. By the way, Defense and Commerce were the only constitutional responsibilities in the constitution. National Endowment for the arts is a farce. The Department should be abolished, and money should be sent directly to the states when required. The interstate highways are Federal responsibility. HUD should be privatized. OSHA needs to be brought under control. I don't know all the dollar amounts, but this is a start.knc
