I gave up on my broker after he told me NOT to buy Microsoft last December and to buy EDS instead. I'm doing my trades through E*Trade which is OK for an occasional trader like myself, though somewhat slow and balky. And I have learned never to trust their price quotations.

With E*Trade you just enter a limit or stop order at the price you want and let their computer do the rest. Though I haven't checked yet, I'm sure my BROC shares stopped out at 5 when it slipped as low as 4/14 yesterday (and recovered back to 5 1/8). Looks like a battle is on for the new investors to keep it over 5.

You could put in a limit order for SSII at a very low price and if someone pulls it down that low for just a minute one day, it should go through.

Can't wait to go read the BROC thread. Should be very interesting. See you next week for Fed meeting day!
