Re: If you remember, they were planning to ship 1.2-1.4GHz, while in reality it makes 1.7GHz! Sounds fishy to me. An ALU clocked at 3.4 GHz on Intel's Al process? I suspect that Intel is trying to pull another fast one here (along the lines of redefining capital gains as income). Can we all agree in advance that should it transpire this Willy is actually externally clocked at 850 MHz but Intel are quoting the internal clock speed of the double pumped Willy ALU, we would consider this to be a slimy and underhand move?
