Hi Richard,
No. I take your meaning to be "Easy Language", "SCx", or "Tradestation" are out there all by themselves, or are going exstinct? I have no desire to use any particular software. I just want to be able to code some things that I know are going to require more control on my end. I'm not even sure if "Easy Language" gives the flexability that I might desire or require. I don't know if it is just a bunch of library macros that you can call or if you can really get down in the dirt with it.

Any program that you may know of would be given price/performance consideration and as always I do respect your opinions and advice.

I did come up with another alternative that I think is going to be the most cost effective solution and give me all the flexibility that I could ever want. I have seen that a few people use EXCEL for indicators and graphs. I would not be able to do what I want with EXCEL but the fact that EXCEL can read the data file tells me that it must be ascii. I'm pretty sure EXCEL couldn't read a DIAL DATA file but maybe it can read a Q+ file. Do you know what data providers can be read by EXCEL. You have probably heard of a program called Mathcad. I have this program and it would be able to read any data file that EXCEL could read. I could do anything that I wanted with it. So, Q+ is cheaper than Dial Data and no extra cost for another program since I already have Mathcad. WOW does alot but it has some real limitations in its ability to construct its' own indicators.

Thanks for you help.

David
