Mighty, I've been on a much needed vacation for the last 10 days, but can't get away without checking the market action. Incremental word from sell siders on LU has been positive. There are alot of hedge funds and value guys going long now as far as I can tell. Internal contacts say Debbie is really stirring things up - look for a lot of not so voluntary separations in middle management. I expect 4Q in line with guidance with incremental optimistic forward comments followed by a very bullish analyst meeting in November. Absent Saudi, wireless is having a great year as is data networking. Margins in optical will suck for at least 6 months. We lightened up on LU right after the quarter and saved some pain. NOK is the stock that really hurt, but I'm still very bullish there. NT has been a real saviour. We're down against our benchmark since July 1, but not that bad.
