I know many successful blacks who confide in me that they still feel oppressed because of the way they are treated by some of the police, ... This is an issue in the Twin Cities lately. Police "profiling" is being criticized. Some blacks claim this police policy unfairly sets them up for extra scrutiny. This despite the fact that Mpls has a black mayor and St. Paul has a black police chief, neither of whom ever receives any personal criticism for this policy - go figure.
